Vegas Bob will be driving his wife's car through Canada from Anchorage to Las Vegas in May 2017

Robert Swetz aka Vegas Bob's wife checked on prices with carriers on shipping her SUV from Anchorage to Las Vegas, and they want around $2500 dollars.
Vegas Bob thinks this to too much money so he mentioned to his wife that he would drive the car down through Canada.

Vegas Bob's wife can't drive with because she will be flying with her boys to the Philippines and then to Myanmar for one month.
This will be a long drive of 3500 approx miles from Anchorage to Las Vegas but Vegas Bob can take photos, videos and travel through beautiful Canada.
So are there any Canadians that would like to meet Vegas Bob on his drive from Anchorage to Las Vegas?

Robert Swetz  aka Vegas Bob aka Alaska Bob will be in Anchorage Alaska, Wasilla, Palmer and surrounding areas January 26, 27, 28, 29 & 30 2017.

Alaska Bob will be celebrating a late Christmas, New Years on birthdays with family.

The weather has been very cold and snowy in Alaska for the last 2-3 weeks so Vegas Bob will be bringing the California sunshine up to Alaska.

For anyone that enjoys swimming with the sharks the Golden Nugget located in downtown Las Vegas on Fremont Street a water slide tube that goes through a tank with sharks.
This fun slide was built at the swim pool at the Golden Nugget many years ago and has been a tourist attraction for quite some time.
The pool is heated so you can actually swim during the winter season, so take a walk on the wild side at Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas Nevada.

The Golden Nugget has some great specials running during the weekdays Monday thru Thursdays, and then the prices go back up around the weekends.

Las Vegas Home Values in 2016 increased faster than national average

Las Vegas home values ended 2016 rising faster than the national average.
The median estimated home value in the Las Vegas area in December was $215,400, up 9.8 percent from a year earlier, according to a report Thursday by home-listing service Zillow.
Nationally, the median home value last month was $193,800, up 6.8 percent year-over-year.
Among the 35 metro areas listed in Zillow’s report, San Jose, California had the highest median value last month, at $963,700, and Cleveland had the lowest, at $130,700.

 

Portland, Oregon, posted the fastest rise in home values, at 13.8 percent, while Indianapolis climbed the slowest, at 2.1 percent, Zillow reported.
Still, property values rose year-over-year in every metro listed, and Las Vegas’ rate was seventh-fastest.
Overall in Southern Nevada, buyers last year picked up 41,720 previously owned houses, condos and town homes, up 8 percent from 2015, according to the Greater Las Vegas Association of Realtors.
Among previously owned single-family homes — the bulk of the market — the median sales price in December was $235,000, up 8.3 percent from a year earlier, the GLVAR reported.

Robert Vegas Bob Swetz has come across different websites and networks for For Sale by Owner like Realtor.com, Zillow, Trulia just to name a few.

And I have also come across networks and platforms offering home owners to list their homes for $99 dollars and some other low price and might be catching people wanting to sell their homes.

I have had family members and clients asking me what about owner financed or rent to own?

My personal opinion is I wouldn't trust a home owner vs getting a mortgage, there are so many things that could go wrong. And For Sale By Owner, well I am very unsure about this unless you have a attorney present and then things can go wrong.

I say support your local Realtor and no just because I am one, but because when buying a home there are so many factors involved.

There could be liens on the property!

A person could try and sell a home to you that they don't own!

With out the knowledge that a professional Realtor has, I don't think I would ever purchase a home without using one.
