WATER and POWER - A CALIFORNIA HEIST

Over the long weekend a friend of mine texted me the name of a great documentary on Netflix he said I must watch, and so I did watch this great movie.

I have been traveling back and forth from Las Vegas to San Jose now for around 4 years for work. On my long 8 hour drives I would drive through Bakersfield and then around 180 miles on Interstate 5. 

I-5 runs right through the Central Valley of California and during my drive I would see all these signs about water, etc on the sides of the Interstate. 

Signs that read ... Water is for growing Food, No Water, Government Politics Controlling our Water, etc. Over 50% of the farm fields are dried up dirt with no crops growing for many years.

There are even families around these areas that have not had water in their homes for years.

And as soon as I viewed this movie WATER and POWER - A California Heist I know what the real reason was for the drought.

The Unacknowledged Documentary on Netflix has to be one of the best movies I have seen in quite some time and came out in April 2017.

It's right up my alley and for anyone interested in knowing the truth that has been covered up for 50+ years this great documentary will really get you thinking.

What can stop Zillow & Amazon in the Real Estate Industry?

Zillow, Amazon and other huge corporations continue to come up with new ways with software and apps to hurt and or control the Real Estate Industry.

For any of you that have either been a client for Zillow in the past as a real estate agent or broker you might know how Zillow works.

Lately their has been some much news, talk and blogging about Zillow and Amazon, on real estate networks, FaceBook and more.

All I can say is (BEWARE) of Zillow, Amazon and any other huge corporations that have any interest in the Real Estate Industry.

Heavy hitting corporations like Apple, Amazon, Google, Walt Disney Corp, FaceBook, etc, could take over and or purchase all of the real estate businesses and or industry if they wanted.

All of these companies mentioned (above) have been purchasing real estate for investments across the nation and around the world for many years now. I have been working in Silicon Valley in NorCal for about 2-3 years now and Google is purchasing as much of San Jose and they can get their hands on. Google, Apple, FaceBook, Amazon, Netflix, etc are building small community cities for their companies, campuses and more.

I seriously think the only thing that could stop any of these huge corporations taking over the Real Estate Industry would be a lawsuit and or rewriting the laws, etc that are protecting the Real Estate Industry from being bought out and or crushed by huge greedy corporations.

And don't think for a minute that a take over could never happen ... Anything is possible!

Robert Swetz aka Vegas Bob - Alaska Bob is seriously thinking about going back down to the Lower 48 and working in either The Bay Area California or Las Vegas Nevada.
The Bay Area is BOOMING now with Apple Campus 2, Microsoft, Netflix, etc. and a massive 5 year project in Downtown San Francisco with 3 skyscraper's one reaching 57 stories.

Robert Swetz is very interested in building a New Retirement Home in Alaska. Robert Already owes the land and now he just needs some extra cash to make this new project happen.

Robert figures if he was to work another 4 years in The Bay Area that this would give him more than enough money to actually build a new retirement home and more than likely have it paid off in full.

Also if Robert Swetz was to work another 4 years in The Bay Area, this would make Robert vested in another Local Union on top of being vested in the Las Vegas Local 2001.
Creating another Local Union to be vested in would create approx. $4,000.00 dollars per month, not including his vestment in Las Vegas when Robert retires.
