Vegas Bob might be busting a move soon!

The construction project I was working on in San Jose was shut down March 30th 2020 because of the Corona Virus and I have been in quarantine now for 21 days now. I only received $318 dollars because I made too much money in 2019 for the stimulus money and I have (not received) any money from unemployment yet.

I know glazier's (glass worker) friends in Oregon, Minnesota, Las Vegas and other states that are still working and were never laid off because of the virus. I enjoy working, plan to retire in the next 3 years so I might have to bust a move. If the governor of California doesn't get his shit together and get us back to work soon, then I will be headed to Las Vegas to work until he does.

Sure I have nest eggs set up for retirement but I would like to pay off several more before I retire. And as for unemployment well I make 4 times more then the max so I am going backwards with my assets.

Is there anyone else out there that is feeling the pain of sitting home, collecting pennies, going out of their minds waiting for the sun to rise and go back to their jobs? 

Sorry folks I can't work on construction projects installing glass from home ...

January 25th 2018 Vegas Bob aka Robert Swetz had his cards read by Grace Cloyd.

Vegas Bob set up the appointment 4 days in advance and was very excited about the meeting for days.

When Vegas Bob first met Grace before the reading she said have met before? But it may have been in another life because VB does not remember ever meeting Grace before.

Grace and VB both made some tea before sitting down for the reading which was comforting. Grace also let VB record the reading which was very exciting because VB just listened to the 30 minute reading before writing this post.

The reading by Grace was wonderful, spot on and she really opened up some incites, helped VB to understand where he is at the moment in his life and where he will be living, working and headed into the near future.

As for living and working in Las Vegas vs the Bay Area in California Grace said the cards are all leaning towards the Bay Area. Grace mentioned that if VB was to live and work in the Las Vegas Nevada then he would really need to focus and know why he's there, and not just being there because it is a comfort zone.

Grace read VB's cards for 30 minutes, having him pick 5 to six different times on different subjects, etc. As for VB's emotions and feelings in life Grace said that I VB has been working hard and he can relax some and worry less.

Grace also mentioned that VB would be living the summer months in Alaska in the near future as retirement closes in the next 3-4 years.

All in all VB really enjoyed his cards being read by Grace Cloyd, she is a wonderful down to earth person, was spot on with the reading and for anyone in the San Jose area that is interested in knowing their possibilities in life, having troubles and or trying to line up their energy don't hesitate to call Grace and set up a reading.

I have been Debt Free for 5 years now so why am I Working?

With no mortgage payment, no car payment, no credit card payment, no utility payments and the only having to pay for food and gas for my car, what would be my reason for working.

In 2010 I had a bad back injury while working construction and collected workman's comp for 2 years, and only collected 18K for life on my back injury the attorney got the rest.

So around 4-5 years ago I paid off all my debt while working construction and selling real estate and was able to pay cash for some smaller investments.

So for the last 3 years working construction the men ask me why are you working Bob? I usually come up with a quick funny answer like ... I love you guys and work with you for fun, the employer doesn't even pay me to work here. They just usually laugh and say right Bob!

I am not working because I'm bored because I can find 100's of different things to do to keep me from boredom. I'm not working because I need money because I have no bills. For the last 2 years of working construction and real estate I have been telling my wife, family and friends that I am still working construction because I would like to purchase some smaller real estate investments.

The construction industry continues to boom in the Bay Area of Northern California and will light up in June of 2018 in Las Vegas Nevada so I (think) I may work for another 3 years and if I get a wild itch to travel or quit I will.
I am not at retirement age so I will not be collecting and or retiring early and paying a penalty.

Vegas Bob continues to search for a real estate investment and retirement property for future enjoyment.

It's hard to believe it's been almost 4 years now that Vegas Bob started searching for that place in Carson City where he can spend some summers after retirement. Time seems to be flying by so fast and Vegas Bob figures possibly this coming late fall early winter he will put in some offers.

Vegas Bob already has a beautiful investment property in Las Vegas and real estate in Alaska so it's time to look at new places.

Robert Swetz aka Vegas Bob aka Alaska Bob has been searching for land in the states of Alaska, California and Maine for several years now.

Alaska Bob purchased several vacant land lots in Alaska some time ago and is interested in purchasing more in AK.

   Mammoth Lakes California

There are several areas in northern California with vacant land that Robert Swetz is interested in but California is so over priced being at the peak of a bubble.

Robert Swetz would rather purchase after the bubble pops and purchase low than to pay top dollar.

   Maine 

And then there is the beautiful state of Maine that has struck an interest in Robert Swetz.

There are some great prices in northern Maine and Vegas Bob has been searching for homes and vacant land in the state of Maine for several years.

So which state is it going to be for Robert Swetz's next purchase? 

Alaska & Maine are very cold areas in the winter season, but Alaska Bob will be retiring in the next 3-4-5 years and won't have to live in either state in the winters if he chooses not to.

Vegas Bob will be doing some traveling around the USA and possibly be traveling overseas. 

Vegas Bob would really like to take a trip to the Holy Land in Israel and possibly Egypt if it's safe for Americans. 
If Las Vegas picks up with construction projects Vegas Bob may be setting himself up to work construction in Las Vegas Nevada.

Vegas Bob has been asked if he would like to travel to the Philippines and Myanmar, but he's not sure if he will be traveling to the other side of the world in 2017. 
Some other Big changes that Vegas Bob will be working on is setting himself up for future retirement purchasing properties where VB will be hanging his hat during the 4 different seasons.

Robert Alaska Bob Swetz's opportunities within The Sound of Silence

Robert Alaska Bob Swetz will be flying out from the "Lower 48" this coming weekend, December 20th.

Alaska Bob aka Vegas Bob has many different opportunities being presented to him in "The Last Frontier" 

Between Law Enforcement, Real Estate, Guided Tours, Natural Resources, Photography, Ministry, Retirement, Alaska Bob will be making some choices in the next several months.

While Alaska Bob is in the State of Alaska, he will have approx 6+ hours per day for 1-2 months to really think about his next opportunity.

So that being said, Alaska Bob will be purchasing a very warm parka coat and some great waterproof hiking boats.

For the next 1-2 months Alaska Bob will be hiking along the snow covered trails, along the rivers, around the lake shorelines, mountain trails talking with his  higher power (God) and Mother Nature.

Alaska Bob is in no  hurry in making a decision as to what he will be doing for work in The Last Frontier, and will also be hiking the trails within ...

Vegas Bob spent the whole weekend viewing Lake Properties 30 minutes north of Wasilla Alaska. Wasilla is approx. 45 minutes north of Anchorage AK.

 

 

Vegas Bob is searching for a future retirement property on the lake in Alaska where he can hang his hat 4-5 months out of the year, along with several other retirement properties. Ones that are warmer in the winters.
