What a Beautiful World we live in 4-4-2016

One day per week Robert 'Vegas Bob Swetz will be sharing one of his favorite photographs that he finds within his thousands and thousands of photographs loaded to his Apple laptop.
The titles will always read:  What a Beautiful World we live in (with the date)
This photograph above was taken last year while I was walking along the bluffs of Half Moon Bay located on the pacific coast approx. 29 miles south west of San Francisco and 48 miles north of Santa Cruz.
I have been visiting Half Moon Bay since the late 70's when I was a teenager and continue to this day, in fact at one time I was looking for a condo there.
Half Moon Bay is by far one of the most beautiful places I have been so far in my life and this photo has not been photo shopped in anyone, only re-sized.

La Selva Beach Santa Cruz County Northern California

Robert Vegas Bob Swetz has been traveling through the state of California since he was a teenager, and continues to travel to this day.

Around the "Bay Area" in NorCal Vegas Bob is very particular about the beaches he hangs out at.

Las Selva Beach located south of Santa Cruz and Capitola is one of VB's favorite next to Half Moon Bay, Carmel, Monterey and Big Sur.

What VB likes about La Selva Beach is ...

It's located less than 30 miles from where he is staying in Morgan Hill.
Most of the people that go to La Selva Beach are locals.
La Selva Beach has very few people and very quiet.

Quietness is what VB is searching for when he is hanging around the Pacific Coast ;o)

Robert Vegas Bob Swetz working and playing in Santa Cruz California 1-11-2015

Vegas Bob has been playing around Santa Cruz now for about one week. VB spent 5 hours walking 6 miles up and down the shores of Rio del Mar yesterday.

And will be walking another 5-6 miles along the beaches in the Santa Cruz area.


Here are some photos that VB wanted to share with everyone, and the photos were taken with my iPhone so there a little grainy. 


But the photos give everyone and idea of how beautiful the Santa Cruz area in in NorCal.


Vegas Bob is very excited to say that he will be starting a new job working for a company in the Santa Cruz area on Monday ;o)


The flower photos above & below were taken in Half Moon Bay just north of Santa Cruz and "yes" the flowers are in bloom.
