Redwood Trees in Northern California by Robert Swetz
I have been visiting the Redwood Trees in Northern California for around 40 years now and first started when I was a teenager hitch-hiking through Orick California.
It's been a couple years since I have had the chance to visit my gigantic friends, and actually I really miss hiking through the redwoods and hope to do it soon.
Here are some great photos that I have taken while visiting the redwoods and a great video below of just how huge these living creatures are.
If you have had the chance to visit the redwoods then you are very lucky and for anyone that hasn't had the chance well I would suggest you put it in your bucket list.
You can travel the world around and really never find any living creatures as large as these unless of course you go to Kings Canyon Sequoia National Park also located in California.
