As photographers we are always looking for that "Perfect Moment in Time"
That one great shot. The one photograph that stands out better than all the rest. The photograph where everyone says "wow what a great shot" ...
Well as a photographer we are always searching for that "Perfect Moment in Time", the one photograph that we feel is the best of the best!
But what I have found over the many years as a photographer is some of our most liked photographs by others are not our perfect shots.
Everyone views scenery, people and or things that are photographed in many different ways, different perspectives and different opinions of beauty and the "Perfect Moment in Time".
Well without a doubt as this man in the photograph (above) searches for that "Perfect Moment in Time" Robert Swetz has captured him and his wife in what I would call a "Perfect Moment in Time" ...

Vegas Bob found some old photographs when he was in New York City back in 1982, and he wants to share then with you because the "World Trade Towers" are in the photos.
Back in 1982 VB was in Manhattan with the John Robert Powers Modeling Agency competing in modeling competitions with other models around the United States.
This was a very "Happy Time" for VB and yes I did go to the top of the "World Trade Towers" and Robert Swetz was fascinated by the views of New York City. I also took a ferry out to the "Statue of Liberty" and that's where this photo (above) was taken.
I am sharing this post with everyone because 9/ 11 is around the corner, and before 9/ 11 Vegas Bob remembers NYC like the photographs on this post. VB continues to pray for the children and families that were lost in 9/ 11 and for all the survivors ...



The photographs on this post where taken from old photos I found in a photo album so they are a fuzzy/ unclear, but they still send a message ...



Vegas Bob would like to wish everyone a wonderful weekend, and I hope these photos can help Americans to remember how devastating terrorism can be ...

It has been 8+ years since this post was written and the Commercial Market in Las Vegas is headed for a huge upswing with General Contractors breaking ground. With many building permits already pulled and set into place. Las Vegas is once again getting set for another BOOM ...
Their just waiting for a new president to take office and several other plans to fall into place.

In Palmer Alaska there is a turn off several miles north on the right hand side of the road. And every time I am in Alaska I have to stop and snap a couple of photographs.
The view is so wide open that I can only get maybe 1/3 of the total view. And if I used a wide angle everything in the photo would look very small.
So here is one photo looking out as far north as the eye can see from Palmer Alaska.
