Robert Vegas Bob Swetz finds hundreds of "Sand Dollars" at La Selva Beach California

After around 2 months of beach combing around Santa Cruz County, Vegas Bob hit the mother load of Sand Dollars.

Of most of the beaches around Santa Cruz, like Rio del Mar, Capitola & La Selva Beach, La Selva Beach is Vegas Bob's favorite.

There are very few public places to get down to the beach at La Selva, but Vegas Bob has been there so many times, that he found a few secret areas to get down there besides the State Park.

When Vegas Bob was beach combing today, there were hundreds of Sand Dollars washed up on shore. The many years VB walks the beaches of the Pacific Coast he will come across 1 or 2 unbroken Sand Dollars. 

But today 2-3-2015, VB picked up 19 unbroken Sand Dollars in about 30 minutes of walking.

VB filled up one hand before they started tumbling down out of his hand.

And what's so unique about these Sand Dollars is everyone of them looks different. Some have dark purple marks on them, that look like oil or something.
