Bald Eagles from Homer Alaska by Robert Swetz
The day after fishing for halibut we took a drive once again out to Homer Spit to pick up our fish that had been processed and frozen.
While we we driving back there were bald eagles every where perched up on telephone poles and the tops of buildings. I pulled over the car and quietly grabbed my camera and rolled down the window to capture this photo of two bald eagles. Now these eagles might not look very big in the photo but these two birds were HUGE.
Later on in the day we took a drive up on Skyline Ridge to capture this great photo over looking Homer and the thin land stretching out is Homer Spit, and what they call the "End of the Road"
