With Christmas right around the corner I was wondering who's ready? Who has all their decorations done, all the shopping finished and reach their destination of celebration?

Well Robert Vegas Bob Swetz is always ready for Christmas and I have to say 2017 has been a great year for me.

I would just like to give everyone a heads up that may be running behind on preparation for the Christmas holiday.

You have another 3 days to get ready so take a deep breath and try not to get to buzzed on caffeine.

If your driving in traffic respect other drivers around you. When your waiting in lines shopping please don't bud in line or be rude to other shoppers. If your having a bad hair day please go fix it.

And please remember you are not the only one that may be frustrated with all the hustle and bustle of the Christmas Holiday.

You are no more special then others around you so so the love and compassion to everyone and ...

On Monday, August 21, 2017, a total solar eclipse will be visible in totality within a band across the entire contiguous United States; it will only be visible in other countries as a partial eclipse.^[1][2]
A solar eclipse occurs when the Moon passes between Earth and the Sun, thereby totally or partly obscuring the image of the sun for a viewer on Earth. A total solar eclipse occurs when the moon's apparent diameter is larger than the sun's, blocking all direct sunlight, turning day into darkness. Totality occurs in a narrow path across Earth's surface, with the partial solar eclipse visible over a surrounding region thousands of kilometers wide.
The last time a total solar eclipse was visible across the entire contiguous United States was during the June 8, 1918 eclipse, and not since the February 1979 eclipse has a total eclipse been visible from anywhere in the mainland United States.^[3] The path of totality will touch 14 states (although a partial eclipse will be visible in all fifty states), ^[3] and 16% of the area of the United States.^[4] The event will begin on the Oregon coast as a partial eclipse at 9:06 a.m. PDT on August 21, and will end later that day as a partial eclipse along the South Carolina coast at about 4:06 p.m. EDT.<sup>[3]

All this excitement about the Solar Eclipse is no big deal to Robert Vegas Bob Swetz. In 1979 I saw one that lasted only minutes and it looked like the photo at the top of the page.
What a waste of money for glasses along with wasted energy for 2 minutes and 40 seconds of what? A dark shadow covering the sun!

And the Second Coming of Christ (will not) happen August 21 2017 during the Solar Eclipse, we have more years to go before this happens.</sup>

Latest breaking news is Robert Swetz's wife will be staying in Alaska with her 2 boys for another 1-2 years.

Robert Swetz was going to drive her car down from Anchorage to Las Vegas in May 2017, but these plans have been changed for several reasons.

So now Robert Swetz is booking a 2 week vacation in July 2017.  Robert wants to know who would like him to post some new photographs of Alaska on different networks within the World Wide Web?

Today being March 19, 2017 July is just over 4 months away and Robert Swetz is very excited about traveling up to Alaska for the 3rd year in a row.

Many people ask Robert, how can you be away from your wife for such long periods of time? Well we see each other quite often and will be together in Las Vegas the first week of May 2017.

Robert's wife's boys will be graduating in 1-2 years and one boy is going into the Marines and the other will be going into the Army.

So by this time Robert will have come closer to retirement and Robert and his wife will be living together, either in Alaska, Las Vegas or ?

Rain has been hitting many parts of California now for around 3-4 weeks off and on. 

There have been people that have drowned by the flooding and thousands of people that have had to evacuate their homes.

In the Bay Area in Northern California we are suppose to have sunshine tomorrow & Friday.

And Saturday, Sunday and Monday more rain.

Word has it Californians want to resurrect Noah so he can build some arks should California continue to get more rain ;o)

Will the rain ever stop in California or will the state continue to get bombarded with rain and more flooding?

Today is January 1st 2017 and will be the start of a great year and construction for Las Vegas Nevada.

After the real estate crash many years ago Las Vegas took a hard hit and the housing market was crushed.

Construction in Las Vegas Nevada also fell and there has been very little large construction projects built in Las Vegas for 6+ years.

With a (new) president in office that actually likes Las Vegas Nevada this will all change in 2017.

Robert Swetz aka Vegas Bob is predicting by summer of 2017 that Las Vegas will be starting up some HUGE construction projects.

With new construction projects being built in Las Vegas Nevada the real estate market will start to take off to the way it was so many years ago.

Starting January 1st 2017 Robert Vegas Bob Swetz will no longer be writing posts about his personal life, vacations, etc but will only be posting material about real estate.

Real estate in Las Vegas, Henderson Nevada and other states and cities across the nation.

January 1st will mark the 9 year anniversary of when Vegas Bob first joined the ActiveRain network.

Vegas Bob has posted his fair share of material on his personal life, traveling and so much more.

Vegas Bob has made so many great associates & friends at the ActiveRain network and I love you all ... ;o)

Vegas Bob will continue to moderate his 15+ groups at ActiveRain, leave comments and replies to comments.

So for anyone that wants to follow Vegas Bob beyond the real estate arena I have left many networks and links at the bottom of the page.

The photographs that I have on this post express the feelings that Vegas Bob has now and feelings he will be going through starting in 2017.
