Vegas Bob might be busting a move soon!

Vegas Bob might be busting a move soon!

The construction project I was working on in San Jose was shut down March 30th 2020 because of the Corona Virus and I have been in quarantine now for 21 days now. I only received $318 dollars because I made too much money in 2019 for the stimulus money and I have (not received) any money from unemployment yet.
I know glazier's (glass worker) friends in Oregon, Minnesota, Las Vegas and other states that are still working and were never laid off because of the virus. I enjoy working, plan to retire in the next 3 years so I might have to bust a move. If the governor of California doesn't get his shit together and get us back to work soon, then I will be headed to Las Vegas to work until he does.
Sure I have nest eggs set up for retirement but I would like to pay off several more before I retire. And as for unemployment well I make 4 times more then the max so I am going backwards with my assets.
Is there anyone else out there that is feeling the pain of sitting home, collecting pennies, going out of their minds waiting for the sun to rise and go back to their jobs?

Sorry folks I can't work on construction projects installing glass from home ...

California Bay Area Home Prices Peak - Sell Now Before they Fall

California Bay Area Home Prices Peak - Sell Now Before they Fall

Prices on homes For Sale in the Bay Are of California have reached a all time high. Average home in San Francisco is around $1.5 to $2 million and the San Jose area average homes are selling for around $1,000,000.

Now that being said, homes depreciate in value and the land, lot or acreage beneath the homes goes up in value. There are approx. 1+ million people in San Jose alone including suburbs. The average home in San Jose cost not more than $200, 000 to build and if the homes are selling for approx. $1,000,000 dollars then the average lot or piece of dirt these homes is sitting on which is around 5000-6000 square feet is valued at $800,0000 dollars.

The main problem in the Bay Area and other parts of California is foreign investors and or billionaire's from countries around the world have been buying these homes for 10-20 years now. Many of them paying CASH on 1-2-3-4+ homes because they are so filthy rich.
Then they have their children live in these homes and go to our top colleges across the nation or they rent these homes to people working in these areas for $3-4-5 thousand dollars per month.
What's happening now is many born and raised people from California are selling to the foreign investors and leaving because they can no longer afford the taxes, life style and can sell 1 home and buy 2-3 homes in Las Vegas, Reno, Carson City, parts of Texas, New Mexico, Arizona, Utah, Idaho, Oregon, Washington state, etc.
So now the prices across the west coast are being "Jacked" because investors around the world continue to buy and own real estate in America ... will it ever end?

Why would I pay $800,000 for a 6000 square foot lot in San Jose when I can purchase a 1-2 acre lot for $10-20 thousand? Because of all the traffic, high taxes, the only place where there's work? Please there is work across the nation and I would never pay $800K for a piece of dirt that is (less than 1/4 acre) ...

Let's just wait and see what happens, in the future when all these home values take a dump, it never lasts forever. And of course why would any billionaire's care?

Silicon Valley California or Las Vegas Nevada for Robert Swetz?

Silicon Valley California or Las Vegas for Robert Swetz?

At the moment Robert Swetz has been preparing himself physically and mentally for the next new construction project to come his way.
Robert has checked some new projects out and likes several but none that are really close to where he lives in San Jose. Robert was offered several jobs in downtown San Francisco but (does not) want to spend 4 hours per day commuting from SJ to SF.

There are many new construction projects getting ready light up in Las Vegas Nevada and the Bay Area. But at this moment Robert being patient about where his next move will be. Robert doesn't really want to take any job but is really trying to let fate direct him into the next project.
Robert's gut feeling will let him know which construction project he will be landing and has been doing this for the last 3 years now, and it's been working very well.
Robert would really like to get on the (new) Google project coming up in Mountain View California.
And Robert would really like to work at Resorts World Las Vegas Nevada but both projects have been pushed to a later date in fall of 2018 or early spring of 2019.

Still patiently waiting ...

Home Buyers Beware of New Home Builders in Las Vegas and Henderson Nevada

Home Buyers Beware of New Home Builders in Las Vegas and Henderson Nevada

The inventory of resale homes in Las Vegas and Henderson Nevada is at a all time low so home buyers are going into contract with New Home Builders.
But there are some drawbacks when purchasing a new home.

For anyone interested in purchasing a New Home in Las Vegas and Henderson please read carefully ...
When you are driving around in new communities with new homes and looking at model homes it is better to go in with an agent the first time you visit, and why?

Real Estate agents services to home buyers is FREE! It doesn't cost you anything ...
And the first time you walk through the door they have you sign a quest list or card. Once this is signed without a RE agent they can no longer represent you, and even if you walk through the door with an agent this card expires after 30 days.
So some home buyers might ask, why would I want a RE agent to go with me when I am just looking at new home or have them represent me.
Well I have heard enough horror stories of buyers losing $7000 to $5000 in earnest money because the builders lender couldn't get them financed. So what could a RE agent do so I didn't lose my earnest money? Write in the contract under contingency that if the buyer cannot get financed then the earnest money with be returned in full.
I just finished CE classes and heard other horror stories of RE agents bringing in relatives only to not be compensated for their services and or paid a commission, and buyers losing their earnest money.
So Home Buyers remember ... RE agents services are FREE and they will represent you in ways the New Home Builder won't.
And the New Home Builder is (NOT) going to give you any discount if you are not represented by a RE agent.
