The population of Las Vegas continues to grow, what about the water in Lake Mead?
Vegas Bob just heard a rumor that by June of 2015, Las Vegas Nevada will be very close to where the city was at before the bubble burst!
And by looking ahead at all the new major construction projects around the corner, I could very well see this happening.
So my question would be ... where are all these new residents going to get their water? From Lake Mead, a lake that has water levels that are the lowest in history? Word has it, the Californians use about 80% of the water from the Colorado river that feeds into Lake Mead. So if Las Vegas continues to grow in leap and bounds, where is all this water going to come from?
Is the State of Nevada going to have the State of California cut back on their water intake? Has the State of California found another source of water besides the water from Lake Mead.
These are some serious questions that the State of Nevada, State of California and Arizona will need to address soon!
