Robert "Vegas Bob" Swetz have been visiting Big Sur California since the late 70's when he first started traveling as a teenager.
Big Sur California is by far one of Vegas Bob's favorite places next to Luguna Beach, Redwoods in NorCal 100 mile south of the Oregon border, Lake Tahoe just to name a few.
What Robert Swetz loves most about the Big Sur area in the steep cliffs, aqua-colored waters and the feeling of an area that really hasn't been touched people.




Big Sur California is like stepping back in time, 50-100 years with very few homes, very few businesses and an area full of wild life.
For anyone that has had the chance to visit Big Sur California you know exactly what I'm talking about, and for (anyone) that hasn't been to Big Sur ... "shame on you"!
When a people visit Big Sur and actually spend some time there without just driving through, they take photos and talk about it's beauty to family and friends.
The beauty of Big Sur sets in peoples minds for weeks, days, months and years after their visit.
These photos and video on this post are 4-5 years old and it's about time that Vegas Bob takes more photos because these just aren't doing it for me anymore.
Robert Swetz knows he can take better photos of Big Sur that are on this page so stay tuned for some new photos coming up either this Sunday or the first part of new week.

Is there a beautiful heavenly place to find Peace of Mind?

I have traveled to some of the most beautiful places around the world and I know there will be new places of beauty.
For the last five years I have been in search of more beautiful heavenly places to find Peace of Mind.
A place where you can open your eyes in awe at the beauty that surrounds, a place where you can close your eyes and hear the sounds of the waves crashing, sounds of birds, etc, or the Sounds of Silence.
The photo above was taken in the Redwoods in northern California by Eureka, approx 100 miles south of the Oregon Border.
The Redwoods are by far one of my magical places that I have been visiting for 40 years now.

Lake Tahoe in the photo above is another magical place that I have been visiting for around 40 years now.
I have viewed and visited hundreds and thousands of lakes in my life time and never found a lake as beautiful and amazing as Lake Tahoe.

Another magical place that comes to mind would be Phuket Thailand in southeast Asia in the photo above. Along with several places in Thailand would be Myanmar (Burma).

Many areas along the pacific coast in Oregon and California have also been very magical beautiful places to find Peace of Mind, and the photo above was taken in Laguna Beach.

And now my (new) place of interest in searching for that beautiful heavenly place to find Peace of Mind would be the State of Alaska, and the photo above was taken in Seward.

The photo above is La Selva Beach California, another (new) place of interest filled with beauty and where I have found Peace of Mind.
Here are just a few places for me and I am always in search of places where I can find Peace of Mind.
Remember, once you find that beautiful heavenly places where you have found Peace of Mind, visit these places as often as possible.
Take a photo with your camera, a photo in your mind and remember the Peace of Mind feelings that came across you.

Well it's getting close to that time of years when the temps really start warming up around Lake Tahoe. Lake. 

This beautiful "Blue Sapphire" colored lake has 50% of land covering the State of California and the other 50% of land covering the State of Nevada.

There are beautiful beaches for all ages, there are beautiful views overlooking the lake, there are many different activities to do, like ... swimming, kayaking, fishing, paddle board, rock jumping, para sailing, etc.

There are beautiful million dollar homes to view along the shorelines when boating.

There are very relaxing places to just sit and look at one of the "Wonders of the World" and many areas to sit and watch the sunset.
