Robert Vegas Bob Swetz might retire soon in the Philippines

Robert Swetz aka Vegas Bob was talking with his wife yesterday and her 2 boys will be graduating from school in about 1-2 years.

After the boys graduate the oldest boy will be going into the Air Force and the younger boy into the Marines.

Vegas Bob's wife has a home in the Philippines within walking distance to the beach that she wants to live in after the boys graduate, and she has asked me to retire and live with her there.

So Vegas Bob needs to make some serious decisions within the next year or two. I did mention that I would like to retire after about 2-3 years from construction, and around 5+ years from selling real estate.

It sounds like Vegas Bob's wife will be going to live in the Philippines right after the boys graduate with or without Vegas Bob ...

Vegas Bob wants to know how much you pay for Real Estate Leads?

Well it looks like Robert Vegas Bob Swetz has been out of the loop in the Real Estate Industry. When VB was spending all those years working on construction projects, Real Estate Agents were out drumming up RE Leads.

And not the old fashion way, mail outs, cold calls, etc. These agents have been spending quite a bit of money on websites and networks that create "Leads For Sale"

Just the other day I overheard some agents talking about some agents paying $500 - $1000 dollars per month to these networks.

Vegas Bob could not believe his ears and can't imagine paying for leads in this amount of money. I spoke with a Broker from another company because VB is thinking of changing companies. She told me there are agents that are paying way over $1000 dollars per month.

The day VB pays $1000+ dollars per month will be the day he retires from the Real Estate Industry.

And for any of you out there that are paying this kind of money for leads. If you and all these other RE agents never started paying for leads, these Lead Generating networks wouldn't exist.

Vegas Bob continues to think more & more about retirement ;o)

Robert "Vegas Bob" Swetz has been thinking so much about his businesses, selling Real Estate, working construction, taking videos and photographs, networking, etc.

Vegas Bob wants to enjoy life more, spend more time traveling and seeing the world. For the last 5 years VB has been really "Pushing the Envelope" with networking, blogging, taking videos/photographs, selling Real Estate, construction work ... and for what? Exposure? More business?

VB doesn't need any more exposure, and as for business, well business is great but VB would like to spend more time relaxing and enjoying life.

There are some HUGE commercial construction projects starting up this year in Las Vegas in summer of 2014, one project that is suppose to last 3 years. VB will be working on this project, continue selling RE and then hang up his hat.

The photograph (above) is VB kayaking at Lake Tahoe ... And this is just one of the activities VB looks forward to doing more often.

YES ... sometimes Robert (Vegas Bob) Swetz would like to left alone, and today was one of those days!
Everything & everywhere I went today was total frustration for Vegas Bob ... 
Dealing with incompetent people today really got under my skin. And as I get older I keep telling myself "why" do I deal with these people, sometimes I don't have a choice.
As Robert Swetz gets older he is getting closer and closer to spending more time in the country. Where there are (LESS) people with more intelligence. 

This time will be coming sooner than later ;o)
