Vegas Bob will be Home Alone for Christmas

Christmas is coming up very quick this year and Robert Swetz aka Vegas Bob will not be going to Alaska to be with his wife and boys. Robert will not be going to Las Vegas to be with his brother and family, and will not be going to the Midwest to spend Christmas with his father and other relatives.

So what is Vegas Bob going to do for Christmas 2016? 

I don't know!

Vegas Bob is trying to get some co-workers to invite him over for a Christmas lunch or dinner.

Or Vegas Bob was thinking of going to Phil's Fish Market at Moss Landing to have some Halibut, Crab if it's open Christmas Day.

But eat alone on Christmas Day, that would kind of be lonely ;o(

Maybe someone might see Vegas Bob eating alone on Christmas Day some where and ask him to join them.

Vegas Bob will be staying in San Jose California for the 4 day Christmas weekend and if anyone has a extra chair at the table for a Christmas meal, you know how to reach him ...

6 years since Vegas Bob's been in his home state of Minnesota

I can't believe it's been 6 long yeas since the last time I was in Minnesota, wow how time flies by!
The 3rd week of October Robert Vegas Bob Swetz will be going back to Minneapolis where he was born and raised until the age of 17.
At Age 17 Vegas Bob moved to Portland Oregon and lived for 5 years and then lived in Santa Barbara, San Francisco and then in his 30's Vegas Bob moved to Las Vegas Nevada.
Besides my brother and his family which I talked into moving to Las Vegas Nevada 4 years ago, the rest of all Vegas Bob's relatives live in the state of Minnesota.
I am going back to Minnesota to see my father that just turned 80 years old the first week of September. While I am there I will be visiting with my sister, brother-in-law, their children, other family relatives and some very close friends.
I will be staying in Minnesota for around 6-7 days and the last time Vegas Bob was in Minnesota he was trying on this African head-dress at one of my close friends that thinks I am totally crazy ;o)
Robert Swetz will be taking his cameras so stay tuned for photographs of Minnesota and hopefully the fall colors if I'm not to late.

2 nights ago Robert Swetz aka Alaska Bob had a vivid dream of Astral Projection.

This is not the first dream where Robert Swetz has been flying in his dreams, but this one was quite different then the others.

The recent dream that Robert had went like this ...

Robert was dressed up in some type of kings clothing, royalty and wearing a turban.

Robert remembers floating standing up around 30 feet from the ground with his father looking up watching him.

As Robert was floating, multicolored electricity was shooting from his finger tips to the ground.

And as the energy was being cast from his fingers to the ground, Robert closed his eyes and felt a sense of content, quietness, emptiness and peace within his body.

So what did Robert really experience in his dream?

Did Robert go to heaven in his dream?

Did Robert reach Nirvana in his dream?

Was Robert once a Buddha in a previous life?

Was Robert on drugs? NO Robert doesn't do drugs!

Did Robert watch a sci-fi movie or a X-Men movie before he went to bed that night? NO he did not!

Is it possible that Alaska Bob has powers within himself that he has not tapped into when he is awake?

Where did Robert Vegas Bob Swetz's 'kind-heartedness' come from?

Robert Swetz's kind-heartedness' all started at the very young age of six years old. Robert's father started sharing with him love, kindness, honesty, etc, before he was six years old. But is wasn't till Robert's parents divorced around the age of 6 that Robert really started developing a kind heart.

At the age of six, Robert and his older sister would go up to their grandparents cabin on the lake. Robert's grandfather was from Czechoslovakia and his grandmother was from Sweden. Robert's grandfather loved fishing and his grandmother loved God, nature and living things.

Robert's grandmother was diagnosed with polio at the very young age of two. She had a leg braise so it was very difficult for her to get around. Robert's grandfather had to pick her up to put her in the car, pick her up to put her in bed, etc.

But this never stopped Robert's grandmother from loving life. She would tell Robert everyday that people, animals and all living things were 'Gods Creatures' and they all have a part in God's plan. Robert's grandmother use to feed the chipmunk's, hummingbirds with red sweetened juice and and anything that was living.

Robert's grandmother, grandfather, father & sister had all developed kind hearts from either their ancestors or God himself. So Robert's heart followed with the rest of his family.

Robert's grandmother passed away around the early 1980's and Robert's grandfather passed away in 2003. 

Robert's 'kind-heartedness' continues to this day and he tries to pass it on to his children and people that surround him.

The Pain and Sorrow caused by the loss of loved ones is Heartbreaking ;o(

 There is so much Pain and Sorrow that comes from the loss of loved ones in our lives, it is so Heartbreaking.

 When a loved one or person that is in our life "Day in and Day out" all of a sudden leaves us and their gone we ask ourselves ... "Why"?

 Why were they taken away? 
What will I do without them in my life? 
How will others and I deal with the loss of this loved one? 
It's not fair that they have been taken away ... 

"Will I ever see them again"?

 Almost all humans are very loving creatures, we become very attached to loved ones, friends, animals and more. So when a loved one is taken away it's very difficult for many of us to deal with the loss. It doesn't happen every minute, so when it does ... "OUCH" does it hurt!

 It hurts so bad sometimes that it feels like our heart has been ripped right out of our chest. We cry tears of sorrow ... We wake up in the mornings thinking it was only a dream, only to find out it wasn't a dream, we find it hard to go to sleep at night because of our sadness and thinking that if only I had spent more time with them, if only I had held them in my arms more often.

 When I was very young my father told me ... "Son, as you get older there will be family & friends that will pass away, some young and some old". My father told me it's part of life and after the loss of our family & friends you need to carry on in our life. Do the best you can to live a happy life, try to enjoy the family & friends you have around you. You will be with your loved ones again in the afterlife.

 This post and photograph is dedicated to everyone that has lost a loved one. I feel your sorrow and I have also lost many family & friends in my life. The loss of loved ones "Hardens" our hearts and helps to keep us strong so when we lose another loved one, it's not so difficult to deal with.

 There will come a day when you have to let go, and until you let go there will to be "Pain and Sorrow" ...

 Try and understand that life is very short compared to eternity. Life on earth passes "Like the Twinkling of an Eye" ... There will come a day when you will be with all your loved ones again, in spirit and soul ;o)
