Movie Fences with Denzel Washington get a A+ by Robert Swetz

On Christmas day 2016 Robert Vegas Bob Swetz had the privilege of watching the movie Fences with actor Denzel Washington directing and acting in this new movie.

Vegas Bob views approx 30+ movies per year and this is by far one of the best movies he has seen in the last couple years.
Wow what a great story, great acting by Denzel, the rest of the cast, great directing and moving story.

The movie Arrival opened in theaters across the nation today and Robert Vegas Bob Swetz saw the movie this afternoon in Morgan Hill California
What a great movie, had some slow moments but actors and the message was great.

I think the movie Arrival has come out at a great moment when so many people are protesting after the Presidential Election. 
This world is a better place when people can communicate, love one another and help create peace ...

Well I finally had the chance to view the movie The Revenant yesterday and WOW ... what a story and great movie!

And after viewing what Hugh Glass went through, between being attacked by Indians (Native Americans) to a Grizzly attack, etc., I thought what a wonderful life I have.
And as much hiking that I have done in Alaska the last couple years, the thought of carrying a pistol has crossed my mind many times.

I have a handful of pistols locked up in a vault in Las Vegas because I didn't want to carry them into Alaska through the airlines. It's just as easy to buy more, you can never have enough guns ;o)
I have seen bears in a distance while hiking in Alaska, but I had no idea that they could run so fast!
When I viewed the Hugh Glass getting chased down by a Grizzly and being tore up like a rag doll, all I could think about was a 45 Colt Semiautomatic or a 44 magnum.
I am not about to let some Grizzly, Moose or wolf attack me while hiking the trails of Alaska.
Also if I was to get lost and or caught in bad weather for several days or weeks, I would need a gun to hunt for food, for survival.

 Here are just several of VB's plans for 2014 ...

 VB will be purchasing either some vacant land to build a home in the "Hollywood Hills" or purchasing a home close to Hollywood. VB is planning on producing & directing several movies in the near future, so what better place to do it than in Hollywood California.

 Another one of VB's plans for 2014 is to purchase some vacant land in Hawaii or purchase a home on the ocean shoreline. The reason for this dream come true would be for a get away for VB, to get away  from all the hustle & bustle of the fast lanes in the major cities in the United States.

 And another great place that VB wants to hang his hat when he wants to relax would be Lake Tahoe. In 2014 VB will be purchasing some vacant land or purchase a home on Lake Tahoe . VB will be spending his summers boating and chilling along the beaches around Lake Tahoe.

 These are just several different plans for Robert Vegas Bob Swetz. There are some other plans for 2014 but VB will have his hands full with Hollywood, Hawaii and Lake Tahoe for now ;o)

Great Stories/Movies of "Cancer, Sickness & Death" (Thank You)

Robert (Vegas Bob) Swetz would like to personally thank all the people that have written Stories about "Cancer, Sickness & Death."

Not because Robert likes these subjects, but because Stories & Movies of "Cancer, Sickness & Death" are so moving and can really open our eyes about why were here. Every time I read a book or view a movie on this subject matter I just want to visit with my family or jump in a car or airplane and travel somewhere new ...

Why are we here on earth? To Live, Work & Die?

I believe we were born into this world to Live, Love, Share, Learn, Travel, Care, Reproduce, create Peace and do what ever we can to make this a better place to live.

Last evening I watched a very touching movie about a sports player that was going to become very famous. Before he became famous he became sick and his body started to fail which in turn changed his life and his families life completely. 

The photo (above) was taken at a family wedding ... The people in the photo are ... Dorthy Swetz, Nu Nu, Sherry, myself and my father. Dorthy passed away in 2010 from Cancer that she had been fighting for 30 years, "God Rest her Soul"

Up until her last day on Earth Dorthy would pretend like it was her last day everyday. Dorthy would travel and do what ever she could before she was taken away to a better place. Our whole family could not believe that Dorthy could ever last 30 years fighting cancer all through her body, Dorthy was a very strong woman with a very strong "Will Power."

So a little reminder to all of you reading this story ...

Life isn't about Work, how much Money you make, Anger, Jealousy, Hatred, Murder, Stealing & all the Negative Things in Life.

Life can be Long for some, Short for others, or grab you very Quickly and take you away in the "Twinkling of an Eye"

So Enjoy your Time on Earth, Travel, Love one another, STOP spending so much Time at Work, spend more Time with your Loved Ones because ...
