In the many years I have been in the Real Estate Industry I have always wondered "why" some Brokers and Agents purchase Leads from networks and companies that (don't) sell Real Estate.
The way I see it ... why doesn't MLS and or Real Estate Divisions across the Nation either sell or give leads to Brokers & Agents in every State, City and Town across the Nation?
10 years ago Vegas Bob paid for leads for one year with "Zero" return.
And 4 years ago I paid Zillow for 6 months and spring of 2015 for leads on a weak zip code in Henderson Nevada with "Zero" return ;o(
Now if Brokers and Agents want to purchase "Prime" zip codes in certain areas across the nation they can pay up to $3,000 dollars per month ... WTF!!!
And that being said it has crossed my mind many times over the years ... "Why doesn't Vegas Bob create his own Lead Generating Network"?
Build it, sell Leads to Brokers/Agents and then after 1-2-3 years turn around and sell it to Zillow and or another Lead Generating Network for several million!!!

Robert Vegas Bob Swetz Embarrassed by Unemployment Division in Nevada.
Vegas Bob has been trying to contact the Nevada Unemployment Division by their automated system, phone, etc for 4 weeks now with (Zero) results.
And there is (NO) Unemployment Division Office Building in the State of Nevada.
I am embarrassed to think of any state especially the State of Nevada that runs the Unemployment Division the way that they do.
It is so frustrating and to think that all the people that work in the State of Nevada that have to deal with these idiots at the Unemployment Division, unbelievable.
In every state across the nation when people work for a living their employer puts a portion of (THEIR) money away for Unemployment benefits, and then to have to deal with the bullshit of Nevada's Automated system and or not being able to get through should be (Against) the Law.
If I was an attorney I would be going after the State of Nevada and throwing HUGE lawsuits on the incompetence of the Unemployment Division in the State of Nevada.
Robert Vegas Bob Swetz will continue posting blogs until the State of Nevada Unemployment Division either gets their shit together and or Vegas Bob hires an Attorney and sues the NVD.

Who would you Trust for Pulling Comps for Real Estate?
A Professional Real Estate Broker or Agent?
Zillow? or Trulia?
Zillow.com and Trulia.com are searched "Day-in & Day-out" by people interested in either purchasing Real Estate or selling Real Estate across the nation.
The problem is, searching Homes and Prices of Homes on either one of these two networks are very misinforming, out dated and inacurate.
So many potential clients that are interested in Real Estate will contact Brokers & Agents with questions about prices, values, homes on the market, etc, that they have viewed on Zillow & Trulia only to find out that the information may be false or outdated.
So that being said:

Unless you own a home in cities or towns with very small inventory of homes on the market and your home is not priced right, you might have a hard time selling.
The market has been coming around for several years now and many Brokers & Agents have been pricing homes to sell quite well. But there still are a handful of Home Owners that are not willing to let Brokers & Agents price their homes right.
Now for the most part ... Agents & Brokers are doing a great job pricing homes to sell, and coming up with very close figures on what homes are worth.
But there are some Home Owners that just don't want to budge and or listen to their agents. I can understand Home Owners not wanting to give away their homes and or take a loss vs what their homes were worth so many years ago.
But the real question would be ...
Do you really want to sell your Home???
Or do you want it Sitting on the Market???
For the most part, many real estate brokers & agents are professionals, give them a chance to show you why your home is priced the way it is.
And if for any reason you feel your broker or agent is not doing a professional job and or doesn't have the knowledge, well you can fire them ...
