Robert Swetz has a meeting with the Art Institute of Las Vegas today in Henderson Nevada.
Robert Swetz will be finding out information on possibly taking directing and video classes at the Art Institute.
Asking questions about the school, their turn around and where past students have progressed since their graduation.

Robert Swetz will be checking with other colleges on the west coast and plans to start school on directing movies and videos in the next 1 to 2 years.
Robert Swetz is just putting out his feelers and finding out information on different colleges before he starts.

Robert Vegas Bob Swetz Bored with Social Media

Robert Swetz aka Vegas Bob has been bored with Social Media for the last couple years.

Back in 2008 when I started experimenting with blogging, joining social networks like FaceBook, Twitter, etc, I thought wow this is fun. But after the many years of plugging the networks and reading some of the garbage on Social Networks I have been very bored for the last couple years, maybe longer.

Vegas Bob is just not feeling the positive vibes of Social Networking and in completely bored with it.

"Sorry Folks" nothing personal just voicing my opinion and expressing my feelings.
You will be viewing less and less of my written material, photos and videos in the near future.

Las vegas Nevada Shooting is a Wake Up Call America by Vegas Bob

Robert Vegas Bob Swetz has been taking videos of shows and entertainment in Las Vegas Nevada for over 10 years now.

Many of the events have very large groups of tourists and some locals from Las Vegas.

The shooting incident that took place just off Las Vegas Blvd could have happened in any city across the nation.

I seriously believe that the person that did the shooting wanted everyone to know just how easy it is to get into a building and do what he did.

I was asked by some friends to attend the country western event on 10/1/2017 but I turned it down for personal reasons and I want to thank God I didn't attend.

How a person could get all the rifles into the hotel room in a 3 day period is beyond me. Why aren't there metal detectors at the doors of the entrances of hotels, schools, coliseums, airports, shopping centers, night clubs and any other public places with large groups of people? Because it would cost too much?

I personally think metal detectors should be in all public places where there are large groups of people no matter what the cost.

Peoples lives are more important than the cost of metal detectors.

This is but one short video of a Halloween event on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas Nevada that I took in 2011.

There where thousands of people down there for around 4 straight nights.

With Halloween around the corner in towns & cities across the nation with large groups of people, are they going to feel safe and protected? I don't think they will after the latest incident in Las Vegas.

And if I am to continue taking videos of music events and entertainment, I want to feel safe ...

Robert Swetz aka Vegas Bob has not been feeling the vibes anymore lately within the World Wide Web.

With so many networks like FaceBook, Youtube, Twitter, Google+, LinkedIn, ActiveRain, etc, the Internet has lately become just a melting pot of blogs, photographs and videos.

Many years ago there was so much more personality with comments, likes, etc and now very little response to blogs, photos and videos.

It's almost as if (nobody is out there) ;o/

Vegas Bob will be driving his wife's car through Canada from Anchorage to Las Vegas in May 2017

Robert Swetz aka Vegas Bob's wife checked on prices with carriers on shipping her SUV from Anchorage to Las Vegas, and they want around $2500 dollars.
Vegas Bob thinks this to too much money so he mentioned to his wife that he would drive the car down through Canada.

Vegas Bob's wife can't drive with because she will be flying with her boys to the Philippines and then to Myanmar for one month.
This will be a long drive of 3500 approx miles from Anchorage to Las Vegas but Vegas Bob can take photos, videos and travel through beautiful Canada.
So are there any Canadians that would like to meet Vegas Bob on his drive from Anchorage to Las Vegas?

Big changes for Vegas Bob coming in 2017

With 2017 coming around the corner Robert Vegas Bob Swetz has some BIG changes up his sleeve.

Vegas Bob is really getting tired of working construction, his body and intelligence are being tested everyday.

And Vegas Bob is also getting tired of the Real Estate Industry, and enjoyed purchasing Real Estate for investments more than being a licensed agent.

Robert Swetz heart is in traveling, taking photographs and videos so much more than construction and or selling Real Estate.

So time will tell and as Vegas Bob gets older, he is ready for change and will keep everyone updated on his latest changes ;o)
